Originally engineered to treat port wine stains, the Vbeam Perfecta has also been proven effective in addressing vascular skin conditions such as broken capillaries on the face, redness of the skin, rosacea, leg and facial veins, brown spots, scars and more.
As a non-invasive treatment option, the Vbeam laser uses an intense but gentle burst of light that targets specific areas of the skin. Patients who undergo Vbeam Perfecta treatments see a reduction in the redness of their skin. Results will vary based on the number of treatments received and the severity of the individual’s condition.
PREPARING FOR VBEAM PERFECTA TREATMENT
If you are considering a Vbeam Perfect treatment, Tri Valley Health & Aesthetics’ clinical director, Donna Bierut, stresses the importance of avoiding sun exposure for at least three weeks leading up to your appointment.
If possible, patients should also discontinue the use of blood thinners prior to treatment. Blood thinners may prolong bleeding time and cause more bruising following the Vbeam procedure. It is recommended to always consult with your doctor before stopping the use of any medications.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM VBEAM PERFECTA
While the Vbeam laser is used to treat vascular conditions such as broken capillaries and redness, there is an added benefit to the treatment—the stimulation of collagen! Every time the laser is used to treat vascular conditions, it stimulates collagen, giving the skin increased strength and elasticity.
